DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, June 27 at 11:00 AM at the County Terminal for a special presentation on the unleaded avgas transition. Our guest speaker is Michael Luvara\, an engineer and test pilot based at Reid-Hillview Airport with a background in telemetry\, avionics\, and flight test. Mike has been conducting independent materials compatibility testing on the leading unleaded fuel candidates — and publicly sharing his findings to support the safety and airworthiness of the GA fleet. He’ll cover what he’s learned about O-ring\, paint\, and fuel bladder compatibility\, what OEM advisories actually mean for your airplane\, and where things stand in the broader transition away from 100LL.
