DESCRIPTION:There’s nothing quite like a sunny afternoon with burgers on the grill\, good friends\, and a shared love for aviation—and that’s exactly what the SCAPA Summer BBQ is all about! \nSCAPA is excited to host another laid-back gathering where aviators\, friends\, and family can connect\, catch up\, and meet new faces in the South County aviation community. Whether you’re a long-time member or brand new to the hangar\, this is your chance to enjoy some great company and delicious food. \n🗓 Date & Time: \nGrill fires up at 12:00 PM at Pat Belanger’s hangar. \n🍔 On the Menu: \nSCAPA will be providing burgers\, hot dogs\, buns\, condiments\, water\, and soft drinks. If you’d like something a little stronger to sip on (beer or wine\, anyone?)\, feel free to bring your own. \n🥗 Potluck Style: \nWe’re keeping it simple and social. To help keep costs down and variety up\, we invite you (totally optional!) to bring a side dish to share. Here are some ideas if you’re stuck: \n\nAppetizers\nChips & dip\nPotato or mac salad\nGreen salad\nVeggie platter\nDessert\n\nNo need to overdo it—we’re aiming for variety\, not volume! Let us know what you’re bringing when you RSVP to Pat Belanger\, and we’ll send out a running list so we don’t all show up with cookies (though honestly\, that wouldn’t be the worst problem). \n🎙 Maybe a Guest Speaker? \nWe’re working on lining up a very cool guest speaker—he’s got stories worth hearing\, but he’s also very busy. So while we can’t promise anything just yet\, let’s just say… you won’t want to miss it if he can make it! \n✅ RSVP: \nPlease let us know as soon as you can if you’re coming\, and if you’re bringing a dish.
