Thereâs nothing quite like a sunny afternoon with burgers on the grill, good friends, and a shared love for aviationâand thatâs exactly what the SCAPA Summer BBQ is all about!
SCAPA is excited to host another laid-back gathering where aviators, friends, and family can connect, catch up, and meet new faces in the South County aviation community. Whether youâre a long-time member or brand new to the hangar, this is your chance to enjoy some great company and delicious food.

Grill fires up at 12:00 PM at Pat Belanger’s hangar.
đ On the Menu:
SCAPA will be providing burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, water, and soft drinks. If youâd like something a little stronger to sip on (beer or wine, anyone?), feel free to bring your own.
đ„ Potluck Style:
Weâre keeping it simple and social. To help keep costs down and variety up, we invite you (totally optional!) to bring a side dish to share. Here are some ideas if youâre stuck:
- Appetizers
- Chips & dip
- Potato or mac salad
- Green salad
- Veggie platter
- Dessert
No need to overdo itâweâre aiming for variety, not volume! Let us know what youâre bringing when you RSVP to Pat Belanger, and weâll send out a running list so we donât all show up with cookies (though honestly, that wouldnât be the worst problem).
đ Maybe a Guest Speaker?
Weâre working on lining up a very cool guest speakerâheâs got stories worth hearing, but heâs also very busy. So while we canât promise anything just yet, letâs just say⊠you wonât want to miss it if he can make it!
